PRESIDENTS REPORT 2022/2023
What a year! So much has happened in a space of 6 months our summer season which started in October brought new families, Existing families, and basically our community together.
Before I talk about what we achieved as a club I would like to first thank my family wife and kids for letting me spend that extra time at the club or at events travelling. Family is so important so if your losing time with them try your best to replace that time lost. I be honest it has been challenging but my Why? Has always been about our Next Generation of kids giving them the opportunity to shine.
Within our club whether it’s a podium or a personal best of gaining confidence. I am all for that, and when you receive support from our families and community it’s all worth it.
To my committee team Vaughan,Sonia,Alison,Gabby,Apaula,Josh,Marleen,Kyle,Richard,Nadine,Joshua a big thanks whether you have contributed towards the club big or small you still added value within our club. We don’t often catch up as we should but when we do, we all play at our strength. I still believe it takes a Village.
Vaughan our club treasurer has been my encyclopedia if I’m wanting assurance or wanting to know something I don’t understand or maybe looking for a good laugh Vaughan will be the first person I would contact to bring me back down to earth. Thanks Vaughan still waiting on your autograph.
